OneSixOne

OneSixOne is a medical centre based in Epsom, Auckland.  Working with design from Brand Assist's Wayne Gillies, the Jet-iT created a structure that allowed the client to add new 'specialists' pages on the fly whenever required.

This was done using Jet iT's content management tool - Content King - and a feature called 'Page Template' where we design a template page that the client makes a copy of with a simple click of a button.

The new page inherits the structure of the template - the menus, the navigation and the layout - and the client then populates the page with the content particular to that page's role.  In the case of OneSixOne, this was bios and contact information for each of the medical speicalists that use their medical centre and the result are individual 'mini sites' that can have a deep a navigation structure as required (some specialists are even pointing their own domain names to these mini sites, real value for money).  Once the new page is created and good to go, we then simply assign it to the site's navigation structure where it will link from the relevant drop-down menu item/s.

Once a new page/section is created, you can add it to the site's overall navigation structure with full control of order and labelling.

OneSixOne was pleased with this fairly simple approach to this challenge; "As we learnt, our requirement presented it's own challenge and we saw quite a variation in quoted costs.  In the end, the Content King solution was both one of the simplest approaches and certainly the most cost effective.  After a couple of training sessions from Jet iT on the Content King interface, I was under way and unstoppable!"
